Creating a Share Link Destroys Another Share Link
Hi. I hope you can help me!
I have an Integromat.com scenario involving the Dropbox "Create/Update a Share Link" module. It works great, in and of itself.
Using information from Monday.com, it creates an "Invoice" PDF file in Docupilot, uploads this file to Dropbox, creates a Dropbox share link for this file, and incorporates the Dropbox share link for this file in an email to the customer (see screenshots).
However, running this scenario destroys the Dropbox share link for the enclosing Dropbox folder 2 levels up (see screenshots). The previously valid Dropbox share link for the enclosing Dropbox folder 2 levels up - which I send to my accountant in order to process our invoices for bookkeeping - becomes immediately invalid when the Integromat scenario is run and shows a 404 error when used.
I believe that all of my Integromat scenarios that involve a Dropbox "Create/Update a Share Link" module destroy Dropbox share links of enclosing folders in the same way.
Integromat support says:
"You would need to contact their support team, since this seems to be a behavior of their API, not a behavior we can control."
- Is this a bug?
- Is there a way to Create/Update a Share Link using the Dropbox API that does not destroy share links of enclosing folders?
Please help and please know that I am a non-developer non-tech user! Thanks

Creating a shared link for any particular item via the Dropbox API should not (and does not, in my testing just now) automatically destroy the shared link for an enclosing folder of that item.
We'll be happy to look into what is happening in your case specifically, but we'll need some more information. Please have the developer open an API ticket here with the technical details of the API calls they're making, and the unexpected results they're getting so we can investigate:

Thanks!

Aha! This is good to know.
I'll take the next steps you suggest.
Thanks
