Dropbox max file size

It seems that the maximum size of a file uploaded (from the desktop application) to dropbox is 2TB. How can I get around this limitation? Does using the API allow this? I have very large files to tr...

2 TB is the limit for the desktop app. There's no way to get around that. The limit for the API is 375 GB.
