Embed a video into a webpage
I'd love to have a feature that can embed/stream videos from a webpage. I specifically use Squarespace, and I pay a whole other service (Vimeo) to host these videos. So I'd be willing to pay extra add-on for this, just so I don't have to use Vimeo (now that they're charging a ridiculous amount for the value you get).

Just to make sure we're on the same page, are you familiar with the Dropbox Embedder at all?
Could you have a look and let us know if that would do the trick for you perhaps?

I've looked through the embedder, but it looks like the embedder does not support videos at this point, which is what I specifically need.
This is a fantastic ideas. I’m in the same boat - I pay for other services to embed my videos, but would gladly switch to dropbox and upgrade my account if it offered the same service. I’m guessing that many other people in my industry would do the same!

Thanks for the feedback! As you found, the Embedder is the closest thing we have to this currently, but it unfortunately does not support videos; I'll pass along this feature request, but I can't promise if or when that might be implemented though.
