FYI. I was finally able to extract what I needed from DBRoulette and got it working. My file handler is now able to connect, navigate folders, add a folder, delete file/folder, download, and upload. Got a few more test ahead, but the basics appear to be working.

I will most likely have to drop support for Dropbox until they release a .framework to add to my project. Are there any updates on a .framework release for objective c?

9 years agoHi David M.301, no, unfortunately I don't have any news on potentially offering the API v2 Objective-C SDK as a .framework download. I don't believe the team has plans to do so right now. I'll add your vote to the feature request. For reference, one of the developers added some information about this to this GitHub issue requesting it.
Have you tried any of the supported installation methods? I've personally found CocoaPods to be the easiest to set up.

Dropbox is being completely ridiculous and unprofessional. It is bad enough not being backwards compatible with V1 apps, but not providing a sinple xcode framwork is unacceptable. I plan to drop Dropbox completely.

Hi there.
Any news on having the ability to export the xcode subjproject as a framework? I don't need to keep the complete project inside my application since I'm using just the framework.
Looking forward to your positive response.
Thanks and regards,
MMs
