Authentication with Grant Type Client credentials
Hi, I am developing an Android App which have a Dropbox feature, my problem is that I would like to simplify the authenticaiton process because the App runs in Kiosk mode so we do not really have a web brower when the App is running. I wonder whether the authention Grant Type Client crenditals is supported, so that I can get the token by sending the user credentials to the Dropbox server.
Thank you very much.
- No, the Dropbox API doesn't support that grant type, but I'll pass this along as a feature request.

I've sent this along as a feature request, but to be clear, I can't promise if or when this might be implemented. I'm currently not aware of any plans to add this. - cameronsheng8 years agoExplorer | Level 3
Understood, no problem, thank you.
