Access to Dropbox folders and files via NEW [empty] D: drive. OLD one inaccessible/corrupted
My Dropbox folders and files where all info is stored I access through my 😧 drive which is attached to my windows 10 laptop in a USB slot on the left. I.e., the Dropbox folder was installed and available on my D drive. The 😧 drive connection was lost because the 😧 drive failed or became corrupted. The connection or location (I think) was D:\dropbox\dropbox
Today I bought a replacement 😧 drive
Hence there is nothing on that new 😧 drive.
(A) How can I get the Dropbox folders and files back onto the NEW 😧 drive?
(B) Do I need to transfer info from the OLD [corrupted or inaccessible] 😧 drive to the NEW one?
Thank you for letting me know.

PS I haven’t attached/installed the NEW 😧 drive yet

Hi joepdek, let's jump right into this!
In regards to downloading content there, you can either download your files manually using the web, or you can use the app to download and link the desktop app, and specifically the Dropbox folder to the new drive.
You can choose through the app's settings during set-up, where you wish to set-up your Dropbox folder. No need to transfer info from the old drive, unless you have had content that never synced online.
If you need anything else, let me know!
