I've just found that you can right-click on the dropbox folder itself (in the finder) and select "make available offline". This seems to be downloading all files to my computer.

Hey jaroslawistok , I am Theresa one of the Community Managers here at Dropbox. I'm really glad to see that your issue has been resolved 🙌, I'd love to know more about how you use Dropbox. What’s your favourite feature, or is there a handy tip you'd share with someone who's just getting started? Hey jaroslawistok, let's see what we can find together about this!
Would you mind clarifying your app's current syncing status?
It sounds like your content might have synced as online-only. What happens when you try to change the files' status to "available offline"?
Keep me posted!
