Can I export the entire "camera uploads" folder to my device?
I've already search online and here but I can't find a solution. I've deleted by error the "camera" folder on my android phone (S23 Ultra). I still have all photos in the dropbox folder named "Camera...

5 months agoHey Excalibur59, thanks for the heads up!
From the error message that you get it sounds like it'd be best to split the content into smaller batches of 1K files, before saving it to your device.
Can you try it, and let us know how this works for you?

Hi Megan, and thanks for your reply.
I'd like to but that is not an option as the alternative to select the entire folder is to select the photos one-by-one and it'd took ages.
I really don't understand why I can't move the entire folder to my phone ... I hope you can have a workaround to this and help me get my photos on the phone again :)

Hi from me as well, Excalibur59!
We appreciate your feedback on this; if you have an Android phone, that would be the only way to go about this.
If you have a computer, you could link it to your Dropbox account using the Dropbox desktop app, sync your photos to your computer and then connect your phone to the computer and send them to it that way.
Otherwise, you'd have to do it the way it's described in Megan's reply above.
Let me know if you have other questions.

Hi Hannah, I think I'll connect the phone to PC and send photos via USB cable, that should be the fastest solution. Anyway, IMHO, I still think that Dropbox should provide a better solution to recover photos without the 1K transfer limit,
Thank you all for your suggestions and try to help me :)
