Can't save or edit photos on my Mac's desktop.

I can download photos from Dropbox to my Mac Desktop, but once there, I can't make any changes to them and save them. In fact, I'm told I can't save them at all whether I make changes or not. I'm told I don't have permission. I've restarted my computer, checked my Dropbox and Mac settings and have "Read & Write" permissions on both.

    Hey Shawn Ryan - thanks for the screenshot!

    This error seems to be coming from your computer and not Dropbox. Are you able to walk us through the exact steps you take to do this?

    Have you tried another browser since you first noticed this?

    Yes, I download directly from the Dropbox website to my Desktop. The inability to save is related to photos. Here is a screen shot

    Do you download your files from our website, locally to your device?

    What error do you get exactly? If you have a screenshot, feel free to send it over, in order for me to have a visual.

    Does that only happen when you download photo files to your desktop, or with other files types, on different paths too? 

    Keep me posted, and we'll take it from there!
