Dropbox just doesn't sync everything to LOCAL.
Good day!
It's been observed for a while that Dropbox doesn't make everything in LOCAL regarding the selected folders.
1. In computer A, Dropbox's "Preference > Sync", Set "Save hard drive space automatically" to OFF. and "New files default" to "Available offline".
2. Add a new ISO image file to computer B's dropbox folder. Make sure it syncs to Dropbox.
3. The new ISO file name does show up in computer A, but the file icon appears to be ONLINE but not LOCAL.
Tried to test this many times and it just doesn't follow the settings which I forced everything to be available offline in computer A.
OS: Windows 11 Home
OS Version: 10.0.19045 Build 19045
Dropbox version: v182.4.6427
Either it's a bug or something is designed intentionally not to follow the setting.
Any thoughts or comments?
Thank you,
Leo

Hi Leo C.2, let's jump right into this!
For starters, what happens if you try to add a file using the web, instead of computer B? Do you notice the same behavior?
Also, does this happen with all of your files, or some of them?
Let me know more, and we'll take it from there!
