Dropbox photos are duplicated on my Galaxy phone.
How do I fix this an stop the duplicating pictures

Went into my Dropbox a few weeks ago and found all my pictures were all Doubled, tried to delete the double picture but when I did both picture deleted. How and why did this happen an how do I fix this, without losing all my pictures..
- The doubled pictures are on my Android phone, haven't looked on my computer. I deleted one picture an when I did both pictures deleted. Some how when a picture is taken somehow the picture does not to the Dropbox on my home computer. Do you know how to get rid of the double an how to connect my computer dropbox to my phone??
- All the pictures are doubled, I'm not sure what OS is.

If you open the original photo in the Dropbox app and then the duplicate, and tap on the (i) to show the metadata of the photo, do they appear to be exactly the same?
Is perhaps one smaller than the other in size, or are they identical?
Do you have any other apps that might be accessing the photos on your phone other than Dropbox?
