Error accessing all Microsoft files in Dropbox in past week

I suddenly cannot access any of my microsoft files in the drop box except for pdfs.  I get an error "Package was not found".  I tried direct access from dropbox online, access via dropbox app and downloading the files and they are unusable.

Hi Oju, thanks for bringing this to our attention.

Could you attach a screenshot showing the error you get when previewing the file on the Dropbox site?

This will help me to assist further!

I can preview the file in read only via the web site.  When I try to open with the excel app or download and open I get the same error.

So, just to confirm, Oju, you can open/preview the files in Dropbox, but they cannot be opened in their respective Office apps/Office for the web?

And this is for existing files, right?

If you create new ones, outside of Dropbox, do those work?
