Hey FirmUltras, thanks for reaching out to the Dropbox Community.

When you're viewing items through a link on a 'grid' view or a 'large grid' view, this beige background cannot be removed.

If the view changes to a 'list' view or a 'large list' view, you won't see the beige background.

We appreciate your feedback, though, and I'll make sure to pass it on to the team.

Let me know if you have any questions.

You are wrong, even a week ago in grid and large grid mode, photos were loaded without a yellow background. When you create a new browser window and insert a link to the photo folder there, the photos were loaded, as I showed in the second version without the yellow background. How to return it? What kind of update did dropbox do?

How many users and no option or solution.
What has changed in the dropbox display this week? Before that, everything worked as it should for a whole year. And now it does not work in any browser!

Hi FirmUltras, I'm one of the Product Managers at Dropbox. Thanks for sharing your feedback! We've heard similar feedback from other users and have already updated the grid view on the All files page to have a lighter background.

We will also be updating the Shared Folder page you mentioned in your post in the near future with the same look and feel as on All files. Let me know if that addresses your concerns or if you have any other feedback.

    Hello dear simonDBX

I still have this problem. Nothing has been resolved or updated. When will regular users experience this update?
Photos under 1 minute I added here.
    Thank you.
I am waiting for an answer

  • The Large Grid view is only slightly bigger than the Grid view. The grey squares eat up too much space now and I can no longer easily view my documents in Large grid view like I could a few months ago. This new update has increased my work time in Dropbox and also increased my frustration with the platform. The Large Grid view was fine before the update and should be changed back. If this is not possible my organization will probably have to find a new platform because we cannot continue to decrease our efficiency when sorting through hundreds of thousands of documents each day because Dropbox's Large grid view isn't big enough to actually to see the documents anymore.

Hi abellbailingoutbenji , we have recently increased the size of tiles in the large grid view to resemble the size in the old grid view. Has this helped at all?
