I am not finding files and folders on my account online that I just created or edited.

I am not finding files and folders on Dropbox.com that I just created or edited.  There are multiple and duplicate folders on my laptop system and then I cannot find some of them on the Dropbox 'All Files'. Are there on-line consultants that can help for a fee?
