I installed the Dropbox desktop app but my files have a "box" icon and can't be opened

I downloaded the computer version dropbox, my file couldn't open,and show the box icon.

    HI there taco yuyu - sorry to hear you're having issues with this.

     

    This icon you see on your files is not coming from Dropbox, but from One Drive. 

     

    If you're running One Drive on your computer indeed, have you tried closing it completely or even uninstalling it?
