Linking Problems

The whole process of Dropbox's automatic linking of attachments when emailing or texting by Iphone has been very unpredictable and problematic. I remember the days when you could simply point and shoot the attachment in two clicks - maybe three clicks if you had to downsize it. And the recipient(s) always received it regardless of the receiving device or whether they had the Dropbox app. I have waisted so much time fooling with this when people send me or I send them an attachment and all you get is the Dropbox logo but can't open and download the attachment. I see nothing good with this for the users. How do you permanently turn off this linking feature when texting or emailing?

Hi there Dennis A. - sorry to hear you're having issues with this.

I'm not sure I got this right, but are you referring to the option to add shared links to your Dropbox files in your mail apps or you had something else in mind?
