My audio loses preview for one specific client.
As a Voice Over artist I use Dropbox to share completed work from my UK studio with clients all over the world. These can be 30 sec MP3 files or 90 minute WAV files. It is such a simple solution that I use successfuly with hundreds of customers. Except I have one customer who, when they download say a 30 minute MP3 file from me, they lose about 5 to 10 seconds off the end. Yes I could add some silence to compensate at the end of the file but I often forget! Why is it only them and what could they do differently please?

Hey there, voiceoverman, let's jump right into this!
The first thing I'd like to know is how exactly you're sharing the file with them?
Now, keep in mind that if this happens with one specific user, and not all of them then it could be the player they use on their end.
Had it been a Dropbox issue, then it would happen to every customer you send it to.
Let me know more, and we'll take it from there!

Hi Megan thanks for the message, I upload their audio to a specific folder in my dropbox account and send them a link to the audio. They then download the audio (not stream it) and find that the end is missing.

Hi voiceoverman, do they download the audio locally to their device, or add it to their Dropbox account in order to preview it directly from there?

Good question let me ask. They are on a different time zone so maybe a few hours before I come back

Hi voiceoverman, is it possible that their download isn't being completed fully, so they're not getting the full file?
Could you ask them to try switching browsers to see if this helps, or using incognito/private browsing mode without any extensions running?

If they are the only user experiencing an issue, then it's something on their device that is causing this issue, such as a proxy, VPN, firewall, security software, or even ISP/router settings that could be restricting traffic to the following Dropbox domains.
