My old device died, and when I installed the app on the new Mac, the content wasn't there.
My Mac suddenly died and I installed Dropbox on the new Mac and while all of my folders are there, half are empty. Any thoughts why and what to do? Obviously I can't change the settings on the original machine, but given that many files are there I don't think that's the issue. It seems to be more recent files that aren't appearing but it is a very large number of them (and precisely the ones I want to access, of course).
Thanks for any tips.

Hey tam74, welcome to our Community!
Is it possible that the app on your new Mac is still syncing and downloading content?
Can you check the app's current syncing status, and let me know?
Thanks a bunch!

Hi Megan,
It says files are up to date 😞
I did recently upgrade my storage, so maybe it is possible none of them were saved because I had run out of space? Thanks.
