Newest/Oldest/Most Liked sort on Dropbox Forum doesn't work
I have been talking to tech support about an apparent bug, which has caused quite a few back and forth. As a result, because the default sort for thread is show Oldest posts to Newest, I've had to click the Show More button a lot. With increased posts, I also had to click View Full Discussion. So I tried to change the sort to Newest.
Doesn't work. Oldest, Newest, Most Liked... nothing happens.
Seems like an easy bug to reproduce. I am using Safari 18.3.1 on MacOS 15.3.2.
BTW, I tried to insert a link to your web site that resembles this one (I put a space in it now so it shows), but even though I used your chain-icon button to add it, it says it is invalid. It was not. This appears to be another bug.
This link will take you to one of your forum posts that demonstrated the issue: Copy and remove the space.

Hey sfwrtr,
Are you still seeing this? It appears to be fixed according to our Community provider, and I can't replicate it anymore either. Let me know so I can follow up with them if it's still occuring.

I toggle back and forth between Oldest and Newest fairly often and it works fine for me. I'm not on a Mac though. Maybe something browser or OS specific?

Hey @sfwrtr,
First of all, thanks for alerting us to this issue. I opened Safari on my mac and found I was able to duplicate this issue. I will follow up with our Community provider about this and ask them to get this issue sorted.
In the meantime, I would recommend switching to Google Chrome while browsing the Dropbox Community. I am able to use the newest/oldest/most liked feature fine on that browser without any issue. I'll try to get back to you when we have a fix but this will be dependent on our provider.
Thanks again for your help!

NP. Hope it's an easy fix.
No thanks to Chrome. Not a fan of Google, doubly because they disabled my &udm=14 solution to preventing their AI from answering each search with nonsense. No need to encourage them further.

It is now working on Safari in on my Mac. I just tested it on this thread. I'd say it's fixed and marking it as a solution. Convey my appreciation to the devs.
