Unable to download files to my phone after adding them to the Dropbox folder on my computer
I have the DropBox on my PC through File Explorer and in the past I would copy MP4/MP3 files to the DropBox folder on my PC. I would then use the VLC app on my iPhone to download the files to my iPhone. Now when I click on the download icon in the VLC app it will no longer download the file.
Is there a setting in DropBox that has changed? I now see there is a Vault, but I do not understand why the DropBox folder on my pc to be affected but this change.
Curious if you have any suggestions. I have contacted VLC but they are pointing to DropBox as the issue.

Not sure what or how it happened but when I tried to download a file to my iPhone it now works................
Computers what can you say.
I appreciate everyone here who responded to my query. I wish I could say what I did that made the download work but I'm unable to ..... it just started working again.

Hey DropKenn, welcome to our Community!
Would you mind describing the steps you usually follow in order to download your files in more detail?
Can you also send us a screenshot of the screen you're on, when clicking on the option to download the files to your phone?
Thanks in advance.

Thank you for the response.
With VLC on my iPhone I bring up the app and go to the Network icon on the VLC app on iPhone. I then click on the Cloud Services and it shows available services which Dropbox is the one I select. Since I'm logged in it brings me to the folder where I have my Music. These files are in my Dropbox folder in File Explorer on my PC. Whatever I place in this folder shows up on the VCL/Cloud Services/Dropbox screen.
In the file listing the files appear and to the right of each file in a down arrow to either Download or Cancel. When I select the download, nothing happens after clicking on the Download icon.
In the past I have followed this procedure, and the files downloaded without any issues. I still have over 20GB of storage on the iPhone. iOS for the iPhone is 18.3.1

Can you walk us through the exact steps you would take? Please provide screenshots, if possible.
