WeVideo app does not work! I cannot download my video files! What can I do to get them?
I received an email saying "Your team’s folders have been converted to shared folders, and all Pullen groups have been deleted. Your account has been converted to a personal Dropbox plan."
Now, I just want to download my files, but the WeVideo app does not work! I cannot download my video files! It just says "Oops... something went wrong Oh no, it looks like we failed to load your file. Please return to Dropbox and try once more."
What can I do to get them? Please help . . .

Hey Pullen Family, thanks for posting on our Community and happy March!
Could you please let me know how exactly are you downloading your files?
If you're on a web browser, have you tried another one?
In case you did and still get the same error, I'd appreciate a screenshot so that we can have a visual too.
Thanks! - Pullen Family4 years agoExplorer | Level 4
Hello,
Thank you for your reply! I am trying to download a series of .wav file videos, using the method of clicking where it says Open v
which then gives me an option to do it using the app WeVideo (there are no other options). When I click that, it takes me to another page (using Google Chrome on a desktop PC), where it says "Oops... something went wrong Oh no, it looks like we failed to load your file. Please return to Dropbox and try once more."

Hey Pullen Family, how are you today?
If you try to download the files through Dropbox, using these steps, do you get the same error there as well?
Keep me posted. - Pullen Family4 years agoExplorer | Level 4
That is exactly what I've been doing. When I click Open v it says I must use an app called WeVideo to download my file. When I click that, I get this:

Hey Pullen Family, I just wanted to clarify here, the issue seems to be about previewing the file on our website and not downloading it.
Could you try disconnecting the WeVideo app from your account's connected apps tab and then try again?
You might need to clear your browser's cache as well wile we're at it.

Okay, I have cleared my cache, rebooted the Chrome browser, and disconnected all apps.
Now, how do I download my files?
They are listed by name, and there is no DOWNLOAD link on the page. All it says is: OPEN v
and when I click on that, is says CONNECT APPS WeVideo
which is where this all began.

Could you send me a screenshot of what you see Pullen Family?
You should be able to download your files by selecting them and then choosing the download option from the ellipsis (...) button.

Yes, I have already done so (perhaps read my previous posts . . . ) but I will do so again here.
The problem that I am having is that when I do what you say to do, I get this:

Hi Pullen Family, thanks for your patience here!
Can I ask for one more screenshot of the full page? If you navigate to the file under the "All Files" page, and you click the three dots "..." do you see the option to download the file there?
Lastly, do you access the file via a shared link by any chance? - Pullen Family4 years agoExplorer | Level 4
I do not see the "three dots", but here is a screen shot of my files page. Note the Open v link to the far right of the file name. When I click on that, I get the "Oops" cat picture that I have posted already here.
