Why am I not able to open my files on desktop computer?
I see my files in the normal folders, on flash drives and in the Dropbox folders, but I am not allowed to open them.
If a file was added to Dropbox, I cannot open it anywhere.
Are my files being held hostage?
How do I contact support by phone?
How do I contact your legal department?

Hi Jim35, thanks for bringing this to our attention.
What error are you getting when attempting to open the files? What OS version and Dropbox desktop application version are you running?
Currently, we only provide incoming phone support for team admins of Dropbox Business subscriptions.
If you wish to contact the legal department, the terms of service should provide some information for your lawyers in order to contact the company.
If you have any further queries, feel free to message back.
