ACCOUNT DELETED

Our 2TB Office on Dropbox just got deleted this morning. We were working with a company that requested us to move a folder to their dropbox and then they somehow was able to delete our account. Everyone in the company got kicked out and we are unable to log in.

Then we received an email that said:

Hi Maxima,

Your administrator has deleted your JustWorld US Dropbox account. You will no longer have access to the account and any shared links you've created will be disabled. Your computer will no longer sync with website, other computers, or other devices.

If you have any idea or recommendations on how to  restore our account please let me know. [personal information removed per the Community's Guidelines]

You were invited to and joined their Business team account. When doing so, you merged your account into their team account, effectively making them the owner of your account. Normally, in order to leave the team and keep your account active the team admin would need to convert your account back to an individual account, but it sounds like they just removed you from the team, which deletes the account entirely.

You need to contact the team admin of the Business team. Only they can restore your account; Dropbox is unable to do it. Act quickly because they only have seven days from the date of deletion to restore your account. Once restored, they need to convert your account to an individual account.

After they've restored your account and converted it back to an individual account, you'll need to re-upgrade. When you joined their team, you would have received a prorated refund for the time remaining on your account.

Also, you stated that "Everyone in the company got kicked out and we are unable to log in." Keep in mind personal accounts such as the 2TB plan are intended for individuals and are not meant for multiple users. Doing so is a violation of the terms and could result in the account and all data within it being deleted without notice.
