"Account Limit Reached for Dropbox" error, when trying to open an Excel file on my phone
Hi I am trying to open an excel spread sheet on my phone using Office 365 and the file is stored on Dropbox but it won't let me open it as I keep getting the error Account Limit Reached for Dropbox. I have one my phone signed into Dropbox and I only noticed this today.

Hi again, Redhotpaddy! I just wanted to double check; did you follow Rich’s suggestion here and made sure you’re signed into the same accounts on both Dropbox and Microsoft Excel on your phone?
The error you’re getting implies indeed that you could be logged in to another account, so I’d like us to rule that out before troubleshooting further.
- Redhotpaddy2 years agoHelpful | Level 6How do I check that? I'm logged in with the same email yes.

Do you notice this when using this particular Excel file, or others too Redhotpaddy?
If you try to open the file using our website, are you able to do so?

Would you mind clarifying your device's OS, along with the version of the Dropbox app that you have installed there Redhotpaddy?
Also, what is your Dropbox subscription at the moment?
- Redhotpaddy2 years agoHelpful | Level 6I'm using an Android and the version of Dropbox is 378.2.6

Hey Redhotpaddy, can you try -if you haven't already- uninstall and then re-install Office 365 to check if that makes any difference?
