Cannot find the dropbox.cache folder (macOS Ventura)
When I try to delete a Dropbox folder it reappears almost instantly.
I've tried to find the invisible "dropbox.cache" folder to clear the cache, but it isn't there. The only invisible file I see when I reveal them is a 40 byte ".dropbox" document.
Everything I read seems to point to an answer that I can't implement.
I'm open to any ideas.

I don't think that folder exists if you're on the newer File Provider version of Dropbox. Either way, you shouldn't need to clear the cache.
Usually when a folder returns immediately after deletion it's because the folder was unable to be deleted on another device. You delete a folder and the files within. Dropbox syncs that change to the cloud and deletes the folder from your account. It then sends a message to your other devices to do the same, but one of those devices is unable to delete a file within the folder (or the folder itself). This could be because it's in use or otherwise locked by the system. Dropbox sees the folder on that machine and thinks it's been added, so it sync the change and the folder reappears on the computer where you deleted it.
Look at the version history of one of the files in the folder. It should show you the device where the file is being added. Look to that device for why the file can't be deleted. If there's no file in the folder, put one in it, delete the folder and wait for it to reappear, then check the version history of the file.
