Can't find files to remove them.
I am new to Dropbox. I exceeded the 2GB limit for my basic Dropbox account. When I wanted to remove some files from Dropbox I opened my account, but could only see the guides on how to use Dropbox. (I found nothing useful here). My files were nowhere to be seen. How do I find them? If I find them and delete some of them, will that also delete the files on my PC - bacause that would be a disaster? How do I contact a human in support because the chatbot is an idiot that don't understand anything? It seems very very problematic to get help for Dropbox problems.

Hi Jens-Ancher, thanks for bringing this to our attention.
Could you check where the breakdown of your quota is according to this page?
This will help me to assist further!

The page you suggested shows that I have 2.1 GB when my basic subscription only allows 2.0 GB.
BREAKDOWN:
Ordinary files = 1.1 MB
Security Copy 2.2 GB
That may be the reason why I can't find any of my files on Dropbox. But I knew that and that is why I want to remove the files that are in excess. All are stored on Dropbox on my PC, not in the sky.
However, I find it very difficult to operate Dropbox. It is not for me and therefore more than anything I want to delete the entire Dropbox. I must nevertheless be sure that it does not delete the valuable files on my computer when I remove Dropbox, but I don't know how. I find that Drpbox now may be a risk to my files.
Best regards.

It sounds like you might have a backup on the site which is taking up your quota.
Could you check this page to see if it's visible there, and if you can delete it from your account first?
