Deleting copies of scanned photos

My problem is that I have scanned photos I uploaded to Dropbox, but they came with a copy of the old scan so I now have a copy of a worse version of that photo. Now I have tried auto file deletes and they don’t work with this because of the different lighting. Someone please help.

Note: there’s around 18000 in total 😬

Hey Alicia, welcome aboard our Community.

So, if I understand correctly, you'd like to delete multiple files from your Dropbox account.

Are you using the Dropbox mobile app to do this?

If so, you should be able to select multiple files for deletion, but they can only be selected manually, so that you can delete them in bulk.

Selecting all photos at once is not currently possible on the mobile app.

You should be able to do it through our website, however, by checking the box next to the column header "Name" right above your files.

I hope this helps, but let me know if you have any questions!
