Deleting Dropbox Folder on Mac
Hey All!
I downloaded Dropbox a year or so ago, I'm not too sure why, but it's just kind of been sitting there ever since. I was clearing storage on my MacBook Pro and saw that my Dropbox folder was taking up 100GB, so I checked inside the folder and there was basically nothing, a few files that totalled up to like 50MB.
Basically, I want to delete the folder, but I don't want to lose any data. Does anyone know, if I delete this folder, will it delete original files on my macbook?
Thanks in advance!

Hey backo, thanks for reaching out to us.
Do you remember enabling our backup feature on this computer and do you still have the Dropbox application installed?
Also, is this computer still linked to your account? Do you see it in the 'devices' section in your account settings here?
And if you control-click the Dropbox folder and choose 'get info', what's the size of the folder there?
Let me know and we'll go from there.
