Editing a dropbox file that was shared with me

Hello there,

I was editing a drop box filed that was shared with me and I had full access to. My computer randomly froze and restarted. Now I can't find my edited version anywhere. I've put 3+ hours of notes on the file and would have to have to start over. I open Dropbox and only see the old version. Where I click and 3 little dots to look for other versions it doesn't show up. Thanks

Hey there mattneborsky, sorry to hear you're having issues with this.

Can you please clarify where exactly were you editing this file? Was it via an app integration or a 3rd party app while the Dropbox desktop app was running and syncing?

Do you see those edits logged in the events page or the file's version history?

Let me know more and we'll take it from there.
