Files are deleting themselves! How is this possible?

Hello,

I've just noticed that some important files were deleted by themselves! How this could be???

I suceeded to restore some files, but:

1. How can I make sure that I didn't miss any deleted files that didn't restored? (By deleted time, instead of searcing folder-by-folder)?

2. How the files were deleted? I never deleted those files, for sure!!!

    Hey Uriel1, I hope you're doing well!

Firstly, I'd suggest checking your events page, to make sure you have an idea of what happened and to also check for your files there.

You can also restore your content from there.

Now as to why or how this could have happened, my colleague Jay has created a detailed post with all the reasons something like that can happen. Take a look here.

If you have any questions, I'll be one post away!

      Hello Megan

Thanks for this info. I looked in the events page: I noticed that starting 9-Jul-2024 until today, there is a mass deletion of files and folders, that I didn't do it at all!

Moreover, I cannot see which PC or application, deleted those files.

How can I make sure that all my deleted files were restored?

In the events log, there are hundreds of actions. I can't view one-by-one to confirm all my files were restored. Any idea how to do so?

Take a look at the Rewind feature.
