hidden files

My dropbox is full and I'm told I need to upgrade. But I'd rather delete files to free up space. But all of a sudden, dropbox won't let me see any of the files/folders. I can't find them on my laptop or phone. How do I find them so I can delete them and free up space?

All of the files in your account can be seen on the Dropbox website, even if you're not syncing all files to your laptop.

That is actually not the case for me. I know I have a ton of older files that I want to delete but they are not listed, and there is no Recents tab. I found them on the Recents tab on my phone, but there was no option to delete them. This is incredibly frustrating. I feel like it's just another way for a company to force you to buy something.

That's always the case. There's no way to hide files from that page. If it's on that page, it's in your account. If it's not on that page, it's not in your account.

Are you sure you're signing in to the same account on the website as the account that you're using on your phone? It's not uncommon for people to have more than one account, often without realizing it.

    Where did you find them?
