As long as you've uninstalled the Dropbox application from your computer or unlinked the computer from your Security page, you can safely delete the local Dropbox folder without deleting the files in your account.

How can I stop syncing between the local DB folder and the online DB folder? I looked in the settings but couldn't find it

If you're trying to stop the entire folder from syncing, uninstall the Dropbox application. If you're just looking to stop specific files or folders within the Dropbox folder from syncing, you can tell Dropbox to ignore a file or folder.

Thanks, one last clarification: with the uninstall I delete the folder from my PC, while the folder stored online remains available for other devices, right?

Also: There are two accounts on the device, each with its own synced DB folder - is it possible to uninstall the folder on one account while leaving it available for the other?

Hi Fangio, I hope you're doing well!
To respond to your first question: In order to make your files online-only, you'd need to follow the steps mentioned here.
As for the latest thing you mentioned about the two Dropbox accounts: is it safe to assume they're under two different users on your device, or do they use the same user?
Are the accounts two individual ones, or a Business, and an individual one?
Let me know more!

Hey Fangio, Hope you're doing well.
If you unlink your Dropbox app from one of the two accounts, and then delete the specific Dropbox folder, this won’t affect the second Dropbox folder that’s also stored on your computer.
