I organized our folder, but the changes aren't showing up for others accessing it

Hi, I'd like to ask; I organized our folder in dropbox, why is it that it doesn't reflect on someone who has also access with it? Thanks

  • Hello bdle22, sorry for jumping in.

     

    While you can rename and move a shared folder in your account, it is not moved or renamed for the other members of the shared folder.

     

    Also when you delete a shared folder from your account, it is not deleted for the other members. The only way to remove it for everyone, is to unshare the folder, if you are the owner.

    Can you let me know a little more about the folder?

     

    Is it a (shared) folder that is shared between multiple accounts?

     

    Or are multiple computers accessing the same folder on the same Dropbox account?

     

    Also, did you organize it from the Dropbox folder on your computer, or our website?

     

    Let me know and we'll go from there!

      It's a (shared) folder that is shared between multiple accounts. I organized it from my end in your website.

        Can you give me a bit more info on how you organized it? 

         

        Did you move the files in it around, rename them, etc.? 

         

        Or did you add/delete any files and these actions do not reflect on the other member's end?
