If I delete the whole Dropbox folder, will all my files stay in Dropbox in the cloud?

I have 2 computers and 1 cell phone that I access DB files.  I now want to remove/delete folder on a pc that has DB files/folders on it.  I don’t want to loose files.  
If I delete the whole DB folder, will all my files stay in DB in the cloud?
