I've shared a folder, but now it doesn't appear on my account

I have tried to share a folder with a team member.
The folder could not be shared both on the website or from the app in windows.
When I tried to find the folder I get "folder does not exist" still the folder is on my PC and syncing.
Yet there is no longer a folder with this name in my Dropbox. I have checked on multiple machines.
The folder is on the pc's but not on the dropbox website....

I am sure no deletion has taken place. This is a folder with all my rendered work!
So I'm a bit in trouble. Hope someone can help. In all the 10 years of using Dropbox I have not seen this before.

If a shared folder isn't successfully shared, then it could return to being a private folder. In doing so, it would be re-added to your account, like what you're seeing there.

    Event Details

    Name Event Size

    SSC Shopping.xlsx

    Edited

    98.66 KB

This is the file that it said I edited, but when I upload it - it saves it at zero 0 for data.

Lastly,  I share these files with others; however, "Jeannie" is the one on 10/9/23 appears to have deleted several of the files, pictures and folders; however, I could not pull these back up in our deleted files to restore them.  She insists that she was not in Dropbox and deleted anything.  Is there a way to get these things restored or is there a way for you to find out if she did indeed delete them.  Ugh what a mess.

Thank you, Michelle, for your help.  I really am.

Hi ttwny, just to clarify, is there nothing for your to recover from the deleted files page?

Were these files and folders in shared folders? Are they owned by you or another user?
