Lost Files- Need help

I had the Dropbox app downloaded on my computer, but it was recently removed because my computer is so old it was no longer compatible with my computers operating system. I went to access my files directly online, but none of the files were there. I think my account is associated with my old email that no longer exists so I'm unable to confirm my account.

Also is there a customer service number anyone can pass along? seems impossible to get anyone in person over the phone to help.

Thanks,

Emily

If the files aren't showing in your account when you sign in to the Dropbox website, then they weren't uploaded to Dropbox. Are you sure the Dropbox application was working when it was still compatible with your computer? Are you sure you're signing in to the correct account on the website? Check the Events page. If you don't see any activity on that page, then you're either signed in to the wrong account or the files were never uploaded to your account.

Phone support is only available on Business accounts. All others can find the support options available to them on the Support page while they're signed in to the their account.

    Thanks for your reply.

Yes, the files that were uploading had the green or blue icon next to them confirming they were uploaded to Box.

True, the Event's page isn't accurate. I think it could be an account that is associated with my old email that no longer exists. Is there a way to access an account that is associated with an email that doesn't exist anymore?

If you still know the email address and password, the password isn't expired and you're not sent a one-time security code during log in, then you can still sign in. If you've forgotten the password or it's expired, or you're being sent a one-time security code, you wouldn't be able to sign in.
