lost files
hi
I think recently dropbox said they are downsizing the free space to 200 mb. and my previous files are all lost.
is it possible to recover them?
You need to look at the same place - www.dropbox.com/events or do a search for it on Dropbox and the computer.

Dropbox quota is 2gb unless you have paid account or bonuses. However, a reduction in quota does NOT delete files so that isnt what has removed them.
You can see deleted files at www.dropbox.com/events and recover from there within 30 days of deletion.

I have lost files on a paid account. Stuff I was working yesterday was not in the folder today.

If its not on www.dropbox.com/events the file has never been on Dropbox I'm afraid - so something on the machine stopped it uploading. It should, however, still be on the computer you used

- 00315 years agoExplorer | Level 3I've had db for a year and I started seeing files in the beginning but after a week or so the files disappeared and I haven't seen any new files in all this time I can't believe that db didn't find anything for a year all the files that I have say download an app that supports the file and these files aren't really even a file that I was getting in the beginning when I first got the account now it says that my storage is full and is telling me to move my files I really liked db when I first got it but it's been useless for a year and a waste of money

Hi Taron
I'm afraid not. If you were not a paid user at point of deletion you cannot recover past 30 days.
