Missing shared Files/Folders
Hi, i had a shared file of our renovation budget which is saved in a shared holder with our designer. I've made my final edit. however when i tried to find the file, i learned that the files were deleted 4 months ago without me knowing it. Now i can't find the file. i could see it at my "recent file" in excel but I can't open it as it says "That didn't work for some reason". I have Dropbox Basic. can anyone direct me to retrieve my files?

As it was over 4 months ago as a free user you cannot recover it I'm afraid - 30 days is the limit for free users.
You could ask the designer to send you a copy back?
Or, you can try rejoining the share at www.dropbox.com/share
