2 years agoHi subarubi, thanks for bringing this to our attention.
When you move files out of the Dropbox folder, it should automatically delete them from the Dropbox folder, since this is normal 'move' in the OS.
What device OS and Dropbox desktop application are you running?
This will help me to assist further!

My old computer was running windows 10 home, the new one is windows 11 home. The app is on my samsung s23+ - no changes there. And for the app on my computer, I just downloaded from the website. I did move the location of the dropbox folder to be under the windows folder, not onedrive which is where I think it automatically set it up. I normally just drag and drop to one of my picture folders, and it asks me if I want to delete everywhere. On the new computer (after looking at another comment on my thread) that when I drag/drop it says it is copying. It doesn't ask if I want to move out of dropbox. I could not see an option to 'move'. It does put a green checkmark on the picture in dropbox after I copy the picture to my computer.
