Organise - Does converting image files to jpg lower the image's original resolution?

I've set up some automations under the "organise" feature. Does converting image files to jpg lower the image's original resolution?

Hi strut_entertainment, welcome to the Dropbox Community!

Normally, converting your files shouldn't alter their original resolution, no.

Do you face something like that? If so, feel free to let me know the original file type you're using, before converting the file to a .jpg.

I'll be waiting for additional info!
