Removal of files without my request when using the desktop app.
For the last 2 days...I keep getting messages saying...
I don't even know what this file is. Everytime I get such a message, the number advances (_2b.fdt will be next). Anyone have a clue of what's going on?

Something on your computer is deleting files from your Dropbox. It's likely an application you're using that creates temp files while using it and deletes them when you close the program. Do you use File Draft by any chance?
Dropbox is telling you that when files are deleted from your Dropbox, they're deleted from every device linked to your account.

Thank you...no; I do not use File Draft. I've had dropbox for years; and like I said...this just started happening a day ago.

Something on your machine is doing that - it isnt Dropbox itself (or you wouldnt get a notification).
You need to work out what it is to stop it
