Stopped paid subscription and now files from the latest month are gone - also on my hard drive

I have stopped the paid subscription. I had the understanding, that all files are stored locally.

But now all of my files from the latest month are gone - also on my local hard drive.

Is there any way I can regain my files?

Hey hoppetossen, sorry to hear about your missing files.

Can you have a look at your events page and let me know if you can see any signs of them?

This is the place where all uploads, edits, and deletions are normally logged so it should be a good starting point.

Let me know what you find and we'll take it from there.

    They are not there.

I am using mac. In my finder window I have different folders in the favourites section. When I chose those folders I get an error message (translated from Danish): "The xx-folder can't be opened because the original item can't be found."

When is the last time you remember seeing them on our website hoppetossen?

Also, could you send us a screenshot of the error so that we can have a visual as well?

I'm not sure how this relates to Dropbox as this error is coming from your computer's OS and I don't see a Dropbox folder or the desktop app running on your computer at the moment hoppetossen - could you elaborate a tad?
