Drop box size 193% need to upgrade because of shared link.
I started a new job, they gave me access via a link to download some doc's on their drop box, suddenly I get blasted with emails teling me my drop box is full ... downloaded the app and I see all this companies documents on my dropbox app ... it aint mine sorry, I dont know If I clicked anything that pulled all their documents into my drop box or what but they are uploading gigs and gigs of doc's weekly so how do I fix this ?
Can I delete everything there ?

Hi MikeOxley, thanks for posting here today!
The first thing we need to check is: if it was indeed a shared link, or a shared folder? It sounds like you're referring to a shared folder.
Instead of deleting all the content, can you try to follow these steps, in order to remove your access?

Thank you, I will do that, just a question why do I get notified that MY drop box is full when its a shared one from a company ? I hardly have any data in there as I never use drop box.
Thanx again Megan

Hi MikeOxley, if it's a shared folder, then these files exist in your account.
When you have access to a shared folder, you're not accessing someone else's folder. You're accessing your own copy of the folder within your account, and you need to have enough space available to do that.
