Dropbox not syncing to server using a shared link
Hi,
I'm new here and I'm trying to figure out a problem. So our website has embedded a shared Dropbox link to host the files so I can upload them to a server but it is a common issue that it is not syncing with the website. I have already tried to clear caches, checking fire wall, anti virus, network connections but nothing seems to help resolve it. Do you guys have any suggestions? Thank you in advance!

Without details about how it's configured we can't really know why it's not working as expected. There are many ways to accomplish something like this, such as using the API to develop the functionality yourself, a third-party service as a go-between, or simply having a file request link that people click on to upload files.
Perhaps you can ask your client how they've set this up, in detail, and then get back to us.

Thank you so much guys for your reply. I actually don't know much of how it is working TBH. So my client created an a5w website (Alpha Anywhere) and embedded the link from a shared Dropbox folder that's hosting our files. I use this website to upload documents to his server. I am just wondering why sometimes it syncs real time and sometimes not.

Hi remoteworker2025, thanks for bringing this to our attention.
As Rich suggested, more information on how you've set this up would help us greatly to fully understand what is occurring.
Are you using an app, service, or the Dropbox API in order to connect Dropbox to a website?
Any other info or screenshots would be helpful!

Can you provide specifics on how this is set up? Dropbox doesn't sync to websites so I'm not understanding how you have this configured or how it's supposed to work.
