Dropbox Uploads for my photos/videos from my iPhone -> how to change the upload namings?

Hi there,

my monthly backup of photos/videos does not happen through iTunes but by Dropbox -> Upload is fast and works.
Only prob is a) Dropbox needs to be on screen of the iPhone all the time (thats ok) and b) the naming is like that (german):

- Foto 03.04.2023...
- Video 04.04.2023 and so on..

I want to have it just by date like: "2023_04_03 Foto"...or Video, its way better sorted on my Windows PC then.

Is that possible?
Thanks:)
Matt

Hey Seneca_83, thanks for posting your question to our Community.

Have you tried using our naming conventions feature, to see if that works in this case?

You can see more info about it and how to use it here.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Well I can try but the folder always changes?
I create a folder in the app, then upload 100 photos and videos, then take them from my dropbox PC to any PC folder I want.

you think its possible with your convention?

why not say in the dropbox app "photo/video upload settings"? would be much easier

by the way: i have 410gb in my dropbox pro and friends try to download the files, but wont work as one link and several links take very long to download? its not because of data speed from provider. any tips?

Thanks for the update here, Seneca_83.

If you try with a different folder or if you do this from a different browser/private browsing window, do you see the same thing?
