How to find which file caused a syncing issue?

Hello ---  I have the dropbox windows app on serveral computers --- I just turn on one that been off for about 5 weeks.   When dropbox started on that computers  many of the files are out of date, so started to sync everything.  At one point  there was a message in the dropbox system tray icon that it could not access a file to sync  --- I think the text also include  something about access to the file

Is the a "best" way  figure out what the hold is and fix that?

Hey Frank P E. - thanks for posting on our Community today and sorry to hear you're having issues with this.

You should be able to check for any sync issues through the relevant option in the app's preferences.

Could you give it a go and let me know how it goes?

While we're at it, can you clarify the OS version of your device and the status and version of the Dropbox desktop app installed there?

If you have a screenshot of the message at hand, feel free to send it on too.

    Thanks!
