Hi Hannah,
I ended up logging out and uninstalling dropbox.
I confirmed the team folder was still in the correct directory in the web browser.
Deleted the team folder on my laptop.
Then reinstalled and logged into dropbox again.
Sync restored everything as seen in web browser.

Hey Marek77, welcome to our Community.
What kind of team account are you a part of?
And are you an admin on the team or a member?
Have you tried sharing the folder back with the team?

I've accidentally done the same thing.
What is the fix to move the Team folder back?

The same happened to us. One of our employees accidentally dragged the main team folder into their personal folder. So yes, it very much IS possible. What isn't possible is to move it back. On Windows it says you don't have permission to do this.
The change hasn't propagated to everyones Dropbox. Everything is still as before.
Shouldn't it be the other way round, that you need permission to move the main Dropbox folder in the first place, but not to move it back?

Hey Jeremy11111, I'd be happy to help!
If I understand correctly, it sounds like you moved a team folder, into your personal folder in a Business team, right?
If you visit your account online, is the move complete? I'm only asking because Team folders can’t be moved into personal folders. However you can copy a team folder and paste it in your personal folder.
Let me know more, and we'll take it from there!
