Hey jpender - thanks for posting on our Community!

Could you provide some additional information about what you'd like to accomplish here and/or what's not working for you exactly?

    Thanks so much!

We had been operating with some individual files saved in the master folder, but with the recent changes we cannot save the files in the master folder - they have to be placed in a folder themselves.

For example, we would like to be able to save a specific individual file in the master folder because it is the shared agenda for a company-wide weekly meeting.

Some of the recent naming restrictions (such as no *) also are creating some issues for us.

Overall, these recent changes created confusion and frustration within our team.

Hi jpender, I'm not sure you're referring to regarding the recent changes. Are you on a Dropbox Business team and recently moved to the team space?

The naming restrictions are there to prevent users or other OSes from not being able to sync the files to their devices.
