I'm getting an error opening a shared folder I added to my account
Hi, a client sent me a link to a shared folder. It takes me to a log in page and I enter my log in, then I get a page that says, "That didn't work for some reason
If it's a fluke, it might work if you refresh the page. You can also ask us for help." Any ideas? Thanks in advance!

Hi @RangerRick1, thanks for bringing this to our attention.
Just for clarification, was this an official Dropbox email you received?
Was it to add a shared folder to your account, or a shared link to a folder?
This will help me to assist further!

What does the link look like? Post it here but scramble some of the characters so it's invalid.

Thanks for the link, it looks like this is a shared link.
Are they on a Dropbox team, and is the link restricted to members of that team by any chance?

Yes, it is a shared link with a team of five members. I was added to the team yesterday, is it possible that they didn't add me to their Dropbox team?

Hey @RangerRick1, when you say that the link is "a shared link with a team of five members" do you mean that it was shared with five other people, or that the owner has a Dropbox Team?
If you were added to the team, did you accept? What does your plan page shows?

Hi, it was shared with five others, the owner may have Dropbox Team but I'm not sure and I suspect that's the issue, that I'm not added to their Dropbox Team. I'll check with them, would that give me the error page?

It could be the case @RangerRick1!
Also, it's definitely worth asking if they have perhaps deleted the link, or moved the file it relates to.
