Not sure how to submit a file to someone else's Dropbox, as I can't access my account

I created an MP4 file for a presentation.  I was given a dropbox link.  I tried logging in to my dropbox but got error messages.  I need to get in and upload it to the link, but I don't know how to upload it--it has been about 3 years since I last used dropbox. Please tell me the steps.

    Can you clarify what error exactly you’re getting? You can attach a screenshot here, if you'd like.

     

    Also, did you receive a file request link to upload your file? If yes, you don't need to log in to a Dropbox account to do this, but you can upload it this way.
